Tribal Tech, LLC is in search for an Administrative Assistant  who will be reporting directly to the Director at one of our client sites in Washington, DC.  The Administrative Assistant works independently performing a wide range of complex and confidential administrative and clerical support duties including scheduling meetings for leadership, compiling a daily briefing book, planning and booking Federal travel, and preparing written weekly reports.  Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide information and service to a wide range of internal and external contacts.  Requires some knowledge of federal government contracting and corporate policies and procedures.

Location: Washington, DC

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as the administrative representative for Executive Leadership.  Maintains strict confidentiality when necessary.
  • Provide onsite administrative support for senior federal leadership including scheduling meetings, note taking, preparing meeting minutes, and other administrative support at meetings as required.
  • Follow timelines and meet strict deadlines of all deliverables.
  • Draft and edit briefing materials for style, content, format, and consistency.
  • Compose correspondence including e-mails, letters, agendas, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets paying particular attention to proofreading, formatting, editing and branding documents into client ready deliverables.
  • Coordinate to finalize materials and distribute.  Maintain copies of all materials produced.
  • Maintain databases of tasks and contents.
  • Maintain a calendar of events.

  • Must be dependable and trustworthy
  • Detail-orientated with strong ability to anticipate needs and problems and act accordingly
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment/decision making skills and to take initiative
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required; knowledge of PowerPoint, and SharePoint is highly desired.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Travel Regulations and experience with Federal travel booking systems (e.g., Concur) highly recommended
  • Familiarity with online calendars and cloud systems

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an office environment and/or administrative capacity, working with senior leadership; Federal government experience preferred
  • Experience working on Native American issues or working with other minority and social and economically disadvantaged communities.
  • Must be able to pass a background and credit check

Proposal Manager

Tribal Tech, LLC is in search for an experienced Proposal Manager who will be responsible for leading and managing the technical proposal development process. The successful candidate will lead the technical proposal development efforts that include the proposal outline and ensure completion of proposal deadlines, technical writing, graphics and production support. The candidate will hold regular standup progress reviews to track status of section writing assignments and other proposal actions assigned. The Proposal Manager ensures the technical proposal is compliant with all RFP requirements and delivery activities. This critical role is in support of a business development strategy designed to capture and win highly competitive business.

Location: Alexandria, VA

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience proposal development for a Federal government contractor
  • Previous work with contracts related to the American Indian/Alaska Native communities desired
  • Relationships and work performed at civilian agencies is desired (e.g. HHS, Education, Energy, Justice)
  • Ability to travel

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for technical requirements of proposal development efforts
  • Analyze government solicitations, identifying all requirements and criteria for evaluation
  • Develops and maintains the proposal plan, including schedule, proposal outline, assignments, and requirements compliance matrices
  • Perform in a variety of proposal development roles, including but not limited to leading sections and/or volumes, technical writing and editing, and desktop publishing as needed
  • Works to ensure all technical elements are captured and presented in the required structure and format
  • Participates in kickoff meetings, provides direction when necessary, maintains action lists, enforces deadlines
  • Continuously identifies and introduces proposal process improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Update past performance summaries to highlight contract success stories for future proposals.
